Day 4: People, Reconnect, Share

Here's your Day 4 assignment!! 





Welcome to Day 4!!  Did you get your assignment for yesterday completed? GOOD!

Today we are going to talk about connection! Part of being a coach is talking to people. So as most of you can probably tell I love people BUT I am not the person who strikes up the conversation first. That seriously gives me anxiety to walk up to someone and start talking. If they approach me GREAT! No problem but making the first move has ALWAYS been rough for me!

So even if you aren't a people person and like to stay in your own little world, you are going to have to learn to step out of that comfort zone. It will take some time. This is something you have to do as a coach to grow, you may need to look into Personal Development or just practice in front of the mirror. There is really no way around it, you just have to step outside that comfort zone and start talking to people. It takes practice but by doing this you will only get better and your anxiety levels will go down. You can do this I know you can!!
First assignment! I want you to write down 100 people that you are going to talk to. I live in a town where honestly I only know a few people and I still was able to come up with my list. It took a little digging but once you start it starts coming naturally!

If you are thinking SERIOUSLY how am I going to come up with that many people use your Facebook friends list, look through your yearbook! I went to a school of less than 150 students but you can still come up with a pretty fair amount. Think about people you have met in your day to day life. What about the FedEx lady!? What about coworkers from past and present. Did you go to college?  Could you reach out to old roomates or people from your classes? Put them on the list!!

Ok so you are thinking how do I get ahold of them. Start looking them up on Facebook and adding them!! As a new coach aim to add 5 people daily! Start adding! This will help you expand your network!
Next you need to highlight 10 people that you are going to connect with first!!

After you have made your list and highlighted the 10 names....first off DO NOT SELL!!!

Don't send them a message right off the bat asking them to join your challenge group. That is throwing up on them and nobody wants to be thrown up on. You need to reconnect. Establish a relationship. See how they are doing, what are they up to? Be genuine!

Being a coach is about sharing, connecting, finding out their story, and just be their friend, someone they can trust. That's what it is all about.

I know being a coach is SOOO exciting and you want to share with the world what you are doing, but just take a deep breath and slow down! Give them bits of info, don't send them a huge letter telling them what you are doing. They won't read it...ain't nobody got time!!

People love to talk about themselves so give them the opportunity! ASK QUESTIONS!! Keep them engaged it will help you reconnect!! After you have done that then you can present your message to them, invite them to join you but only have you have established a relationship.

Don't be a Beachbody robot! Be real, be you, and reconnect!

I also encourage you to post on Social Media that you are a Beachbody coach!! Don't be salesy, that turns people off! Your social media should not be a Beachbody commercial BUT people do need to be aware of what you are doing! Share with them why you chose to do so! Be creative! Share a transformation photo if you have one ! Grab their attention!

So you are going to reconnect, make your list and you are going to be REAL!

Your assignment is to make your 100 people list, highlight, and reach out to those 10 people. When you are done with that contact your upline!
