Day 6: Challenge Groups

So you have made it to day 6, which is AWESOME!! My advice is to just keep going, be consistent and stick with it. Do the daily assignments and you will be where you want to be! These are things you will be doing as a coach a year from now so it's good to get in the habit from the get go.

So you have made a list of people to talk to, you have explored your options with social media and picked two outlets, and you are building relationships so what's next!? Challenge groups!!

Today we are going to talk about Challenge groups and why they are CRUCIAL for your business and keeping track of your business. They may seem overwhelming and intimidating but you can do it!

First off....Challenge Packs!! What is a challenge pack?! A challenge pack is a combination of a Beachbody workout of choice, Shakeology, and a nutrition guide (sometimes other extras) rolled into a package at an AMAZING price. Basically fitness+nutrition+support=SUCCESS. This combination is a combination for success.

Beachbody came up with challenge groups because they saw that when people were given these workouts they needed added support. People who were on their own started and fell off becuase they didn't have someone to help them stay accountable. When they were put into these challenge groups they stuck around and started to see success. The became clients who were wanting more they wanted to try new workout, supplements, and still have a sense of community while doing so. They didn't feel like they were doing everything alone. That's the awesome thing about Challenge Groups!

You have all these tools for success in these challenge groups. Now for my challenge groups I require everyone to be on Shakeology to pparticipate. I know that if you are missing a key component in the formula you aren't going to see results like you could if you are doing the whole equation. Those before and after pics you see are because they made sure they included every single component in their strive to better themselves. Also as a coach Shakeology is going to bring in the most revenue for your business. But most importantly it is going to help your customers see the biggest success in their journey! It's a requirement for my challenge groups.

Some people are runners or like to go to the gym but I always encourage them to order a $140 challenge pack because it's like getting a workout for free or for a super cheap price. Now some coaches don't require that they use a Beachbody program and that's an option. I usually go on a case by case basis but do encourage them to do a Beachbody workout 9 times out of 10 thats what my challengers do. Challenge packs are the best way to go, and give you the best bang for your buck. It's just the best option for everyone all around.

It's best to have everyone in your groups doing Shakeology, that way everyone is on the same page. Now there are a few exceptions such as food allergies etc but use your best judgement.

I aim to get a minimum of 5 new people every month for my challenge groups. It may seem small but I feel as if a minimum of 5 people in a group is a good number to have. That way there is interaction and a feeling of support not just from you but from other challengers as well. I encourage you to the same. You can do that, 5 new people to get a challenge pack, and to be in your group. You can help 5 people every single month.

Challenge groups are definitely a learning process, this is something you have to work on. Don't give up. You are going to have groups that are seriously so involved and everyone is is on fire and you will have groups that are quieter. Don't be discouraged. People and their personalities are different so the dynamic is going to vary from group to group. Honestly hosting a challenge group every single month has been amazing for my busienss. I have been able to help so many others as well as learning along the way. I am also held accountable because I am participating along with them. You will be amazed at what challenge groups can do.

Hosting does get a little bit easier down the road, you will find the info you want to use and what works best for you. There are so many different options available. I suggest you find 2 that you really like look them over and then make them your own. Add your own little spin. People joined the group in part because of YOU so make sure they are getting the person who inspired them in the first place.

How do you get started? In the files look for the 5 Step Invitation Process and look through it. Rewrite it in your words and save it as a word document, so then when you are in conversations with people you can copy and paste and customize to that person!  It's a lifesaver when you feel as if you are at a loss for words. You will find as a coach you tend to say them same things to different people, so why not have it written out? Let it be a tool for you

Invite people to your challenge, people from your list, or from social media. Aim to invite 5 to 10 people a week to your challenge. Promote challenge packs and help them find the program that helps them fit their needs! This may take a little bit but helping them find something for them is seriously the only way to go.

Post in Social Media a few times a week to promote the challenge. Don't post a bunch of Beachbody ads, or make it like a sales pitch. Be unique and creative. Take pictures while you are working out, before and after pics are great! Talk about what you are doing and invite others to learn more.

I highly believe in the 80/20 rule and I encourage you to try and do the same. 80% of your content needs to be about you! So it could be what you do with your family, crafts that you have done, dinners you have made things that will help others have a sneak peek into your life. Then you 20% of them time you can do things like inviting. Don't overwhelm people with Beachbody that will turn them off. They want to see you and who you are.

Then invite privately! This is HUGE! In the beginning not always are people going to just come to you. You are going to have to reach out to others and invite them. So once you have been posting on social media and forming relationships then invite them privately. Send them a message that is personal and genuine. See if they would be interested. If they say yes, send them some info and start feeding them bits of info.....If they don't say they would be intersted don't keep pushing it, just keep building a relationship.

I will tell you people will say NO. It's ok, it has nothing to do with you. Remember you don't know peoples life situations 100% so just be prepared. Now this NO doesn't mean no forever, it just means not right now come back to them in a few months. If they say no offer to put them in a free group.

I suggest offereing a free group monthly as well. Create your own group on facebook for your free and paid clients. People can sign up as a free client when they go to your beachbody site and clicking on join. Have them create a free account, and then they can join the group. There are so many fun challenges out there as well as the fact that you can create your own. Don't think they all have to be about health and fitness. You can create a group about happiness, about family fun, or you can do clean eating challenges. The opportunites are seriously ENDLESS when it comes to free groups. If you need ideas you can definitely check out the files tab for some ideas!! Also feel free to share any that you come up with as well.

I challenge you to get out a calendar and set a date for your next 2 challenge groups. A paid challenge group once a month to build your business and a FREE group for those who aren't ready. I personally do a free group on the 1st Monday of the month and a paid group on the 3rd Monday of the month, but you decide what works best for you. Next pull out the 5 step Invitation guide and look through all the information. Tweak it and make it your own.  Then create a free finess community on Facebook so you can start adding your clients as they come in. Do that and you will see your business start to grow. I will see you tomorrow! Can you believe you are at the halfway point!? Super exciting!!
